Your club will meet with a representative of Mile High Down Syndrome Association for a Q & A session.
Mile High Down Syndrome Association will provide an information packet and all materials to get you started!
Mile High Down Syndrome Association will provide your club members with program t-shirts to promote curiosity about the program and the website.
Mile High Down Syndrome Association will provide ongoing materials to update your awareness campaign (posters, stickers, etc.). Click here to download the posters!
Mile High Down Syndrome Association will regularly update the Down for Change website so that club teams will be able to see their fundraising progress and compare it with the progress of competing clubs and schools.
Your club is invited to create your own “My Space” page with content being approved by the Club Advisor and Mile High Down Syndrome Association.
Your club will brainstorm the most clever and exciting fundraising projects you can think of and select which ones to pursue. All projects must be approved by your Advisor, Team Leader and Mile High Down Syndrome Association.
Your club is invited to create your own materials for your various projects; however, they must be approved by your Club Advisor and Mile High Down Syndrome Association before implementation. MHDSA will provide approval within a 48 to 72-hour period. This guideline is in place to assure that materials will be created using proper language regarding Down syndrome and a positive message.
MHDSA will provide Deposit Forms, which will be filled out by the Team Leader or Club Advisor, and collected by a MHDSA staff person monthly. Funds may be in cash or check form. Checks are made payable to MHDSA.
MHDSA will disburse your club’s 20% of funds raised twice during the school year, once in mid-December and once in April.
Your club will provide a valuable service by promoting the acceptance and understanding of people with Down syndrome while (1) having a great time doing creative fundraising for MHDSA and your club, and (2) enjoying some spectacular incentives and prizes!
